The Learning Library is a facet of Learning Paths that allows users to enroll themselves in various modules and courses made available to the library by System Admins!
How To Enable the Learning Library
As an Admin, you have the ability to enable the Learning Library via your Management Panel. On your home page, click the 'View' button found on the top of your Management Panel.
Next, click on the 'Learning Paths' option on the far, left sidebar. This will bring you to a page wherein you can manage the system settings for your Learning Paths feature.
On the Learning Paths page, navigate to 'Customization' and scroll down to the Learning Paths section. There you will find an option to enable the Learning Library. Toggle 'Learning Paths - Learning Library' to 'Yes' to enable this feature in Learning Paths.
You and other users in your system will now find a 'Learning Library' tab when they visit the Learning Paths page.
How To Add Individual Modules to the Learning Library
To add an individual module to the Learning Library, navigate to your module's 'Settings' tab. There you will find a Learning Library section with the toggle to 'Include in Learning Library.' Click this toggle so that it displays as green, and your module will now be made available to the Learning Library.
How To Add Courses to the Learning Library
Adding a course to the Learning Library will add all of its modules to the library automatically! To add a course to the Learning Library, navigate to your 'Modules Management' tab in Learning Paths. Select 'Courses' from the far, left-side panel. Then find your course you would like to modify and click 'View.' This will take you to the course's webpage.
From the course's page, click 'Edit Course' to bring up the course's settings.
Under the title and description of the course, you'll find a toggle to 'Include in learning library.' Click this toggle to display as green, and the course and all of its modules will now appear in the Learning Library!
How to change the alias label of the Learning Library
If you would like to call your Learning Library by a different name for your system, simply visit your overall 'Learning Paths' system settings. Then navigate to 'Customization,' and scroll down to the Learning Paths - Learning Library Labels section. There you will find the option to change the name of the Learning Library to whatever you choose! Click the pencil icon, enter your desired label, and then click the checkbox to save your new label.
