As a System Admin, you have the option to set automatically generated aliases, or Unique Identifiers (UNIDs), to identify a user instead of a person's actual name in TORSH Talent/Talent HS. This is a great tool for organizations that wish to implement further security in their systems with the use of a unique alias. It can also be a great method to organize the rostering of your users via specific IDs.
These UNIDs can be used in place of all instances of a Coach or Mentee's names in your system, with the exception of Admins. All UNIDs can only be managed by System Admins.
How To Enable Unique Identifiers (UNIDs)
To enable UNIDs for your system, please reach out to your designated Customer Success Manager. You can track the enabling of the UNID feature via the following system settings. Go to your Management Panel on your homepage and selecting 'System Settings.' On your System Settings page, navigate to the 'Customization' section.
- Show UNID instead of User Name throughout Talent Web Application
With this feature enabled, user names will not be shown in the Talent web application user interface. Instead, their UNIDs will be shown. If users do not have a UNID set on their account, the user's Talent userID will be shown. This setting does not affect contents of exports from Insights/Report Builder reporting.
- Export UNID instead of User Name in Insights Exports
With this feature enabled, user names will not be shown in the exports from Insights/Report Builder reports in Talent. Instead the UNID will be shown. If users do not have a UNID set on their account the user's Talent userID will be shown. This setting does not affect display of user names within the Insights/Report Builder reports user interface, only the exports.
